Clear Picture is run by James McDonald, who set up the company to offer affordable filming and training services to companies and the not-for-profit sector.
After training as a broadcast journalist more than 20 years ago, James worked in radio and television both in the UK and abroad. He has conducted many thousands of broadcast interviews, covered international conferences for broadcasters including CBC, Deutsche Welle and the South African Broadcasting Corporation, to name a few.
Most recently he was based in the BBC’s Birmingham newsroom where he produced tv news programmes as well as live segments and large outside broadcasts. He went on to train as a self-shoot video journalist before working as a trainer to teach technical skills to other journalists.
Together with a number of colleagues, James runs Clear Picture to offer professional services around film-making and broadcast skills.
